RS 20 or RS 20 M
There are only a minor difference. I suppose the M stands for Marine (Navy) but I am not
sure about it.The set is not very rare, but rather wanted. It is quartz controlled and
operates up to approx. 14 MHz. It is a three stage transmitter with a LS 50 in the PA
which runs 20 watt for CW. Phone is possible, but the power is then reduced to 5 - 7.5
watts.
The accompanying Rx is the Radione R 3. Both sets can operate from DC 6 or 12 or 24 V (
indicated on the type plate ) and from AC.
Originally this set is stored in a suitcase, which also contains the spare parts and
interconnecting cables. We own the two suitcases complete, which are extremely rare!! I
don't know any one who has these! But certainly there are a few in Austria, though unknown
to me. |
